The criminal network is running a parallel government, while justice takes an eternity. Even our ascetics have become sinfully affluent. In a country worshipping thousands of goddesses, no woman feels safe. A paralysed economy is sprawling on the ground while inflation flies high in the sky. How does a country like India whose people, for thousands of years, have been spiritually nourished by Vedic scriptures and epics in formulating their values and morals, go through such a huge decline of morality in less than seven decades? If Mahatma Gandhi had been alive today, he would have died a billion deaths, every day! It is time for moral re-armament. It is time to reset our moral compass. “All is not lost yet” is the message of audacious hope amidst an enormous sea of immorality. India needs to start a long process of reclaiming her past glory. It will need an immeasurable amount of courage, patience and innovation. Only if there is political will, this will happen. That remains our only hope to create an India of our dreams.
